Summers Corner Celebrates Grand Opening

After a wildly successful grand opening last week, which saw more than 1,000 attendees and more than 400 groups registered, FrontDoor Communities is pleased to announce that its Azalea model home and the community’s Corner House will be open seven days a week for touring. The model home and Corner Hours are open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Inspired by a variety of traditional regional architectural styles, Summers Corner fosters a sense of uniqueness in each home, on each street. Residents at the Carolina Park pool partyCarolina Park helped its residents celebrate the start of a new school year as more than 300 residents attended a “Welcome Back to School” pool party last Thursday. While going back to school and the realization that summer break is over can be bittersweet, FrontDoor Communities, along with Carolina Park, celebrates this exciting time of new beginnings.

The master-planned community hosted the event, which brought parents and children together at the Residents Club’s junior Olympic-sized pool with kid-friendly water features and waterfalls, to celebrate the end of summer break. Carolina Park also provided food that included pizza and salad with King of Pops for dessert.

Summers Corner RenderingFrontDoor Communities was selected as one of the home builders for the much-anticipated Summers Corner project, located in the heart of South Carolina’s Lowcountry in Summerville between Beech Hill Road and Summers Drive. Construction of five model homes is underway along with a number of amenities at Summers Corner, where modern amenities meet small-town charm.

FrontDoor Communities, alongside Sabal Homes and Eastwood Homes, will develop a garden-like community with several small, distinct neighborhoods that mimic a small town centered around a park. Sprawling more than 6,000 acres, the community will have numerous amenities including Buffalo Lake with a pavilion and canoe launch; a neighborhood pool house; an outdoor market and a multi-faceted trail system, among others.
