Center Park Group, a Southeast-based general contractor specializing in build-to-rent (BTR) construction, has broken ground on 3030 Maybank, a 72-home rental townhome community on Johns Island, South Carolina. 

Center Park Group is serving as general contractor for the homes and amenities in partnership with developer The Berry Company. Vertical construction began in April 2026, with the first homes expected to be available in November of this year. 

“BTR requires production homebuilding efficiencies with the discipline and accountability expected by institutional owners,” said Jason Esposito, CEO of Center Park Group. “At 3030 Maybank, our focus is on controlling costs, maintaining the schedule and delivering consistent results from the first home to the last. That creates value for our partners and a better community for residents.”

Center Park Group, a Southeast general contractor specializing in build-to-rent (BTR) communities, announces the completion of Marglyn at Matthews, a 73-unit townhome community in Matthews, North Carolina. 

Serving as general contractor for developer Canvas Residential Partners, Center Park Group built both the townhomes and amenities, adding another purpose-built rental community to one of the Charlotte area’s fastest-growing suburban markets. Vertical construction began in July 2024 and completed in June 2026.

Center Park Group served as the general contractor for the homes and all community amenities at One West End. Final units were just completed this summer, and the community has already reached 92% occupancy.
