Essex Homes Announces “HomeBuilt Athlete of the Week” in Columbia

HomeBuilt Athlete of the WeekEssex Homes is proud to partner with 107.5 The Game each week for the Essex Homes “HomeBuilt Student Athlete of the Week.” Every Tuesday, Tommy Moody will announce an outstanding athlete from a Columbia-area high school. Athletes will be nominated by Essex Homes’ customers, listeners, homeowners, teachers and coaches. The athlete must not only possess athletic prowess, but also demonstrate positive leadership in the classroom and amongst their peers and teammates.

The chosen athlete will be invited for an interview with Tommy Moody and will receive a sports pack from Essex Homes and 107.5 The Game. In addition, the school will receive special recognition on air, and Essex Homes will donate $107.50 to the school’s Booster Club.

Essex Homes is currently searching for athletes to be featured as the HomeBuilt Athlete of the Week. FrontDoor Communities Co-Hosts Successful Event at Stonoview

FrontDoor Communities is exciteStonoview Eventd to announce the success of its model home grand opening oyster roast at Stonoview on Johns Island. Co-hosted with Brock Built Homes, the October 22 event attracted almost 350 guests, including current homeowners and prospective buyers.

“This time of year, there is nothing like shucking oysters next to an outdoor fire on a cool Charleston afternoon,” explained Mark Lipsmeyer, the vice president of FrontDoor Communities’ Charleston division. “The day was perfect for just that, plus many of the guests that came did not know that this fantastic community existed. We wrote one contract, and several are interested in looking further into purchasing a new home.”

The event featured delicious food catered by Sticky Fingers Ribhouse, a Lowcountry barbecue favorite; cold beverages and fabulous door prizes. Sponsor Butler Marine even raffled off a brand new 2016 Key West Boat valued at $30,000. Plus, there was plenty of activities for the little ones. Kids loved the hay rides, choosing a pumpkin, playing in the bounce house and eating some yummy cotton candy.

The Essex Expedition Continues!

Essex ExpeditionEssex Expedition, an agent promotion from Essex Homes, is in full swing. Real estate agents are encouraged to participate in exploring the excellent Essex Homes communities throughout the greater Columbia area. There are 11 remaining dates for agents to explore the various communities and discover the secret to selling an Essex home.

On each date, Essex Homes will host a luncheon for local real estate agents at the featured community. This allows attendees to tour the community and learn more about homes available for sale, meet other local agents to expand their network, and earn a stamp on their Essex Expedition passport. Agents should attend as many expeditions as possible, because those who have the most stamps at the end of the year will be entered into a grand prize drawing for a surprise getaway!

The next agent event is on July 6 at Abney Hills Estates in Blythewood featuring the culinary delights of Mary Morgan Kerlagon. Yes, Mary is cooking and hosting her annual Christmas in July. Presents for everyone!  Following is the Estates at Persimmon Hill in Lexington on July 20. The August dates will see explorations of Essex’s Saddlebrook community on August 3 in Lugoff and the Manors at White Knoll in Lexington on August 17.

September 7 will feature a tour of the Longcreek communities in Blythewood which includes Fox Meadow, Heritage Forest and Long Cove. Two weeks later on September 21, agents can explore the Preserve at Rolling Creek in Irmo.
