State-of-the-Art Amenities Taking Shape at Cresswind Wesley Chapel

Kolter Homes is making significant strides in constructing Club Cresswind at Wesley Chapel, with indoor and outdoor amenities under construction. Since breaking ground on the resident-only clubhouse, the development has progressed rapidly, setting the stage for a vibrant community hub serving Cresswind Wesley Chapel residents.

Vertical construction is complete on Club Cresswind, and the next major milestone is hanging drywall in the interior. Outside, the pool has been dug and poured, vertical work on the pool house is complete, and the tennis courts have asphalt down. The pickleball courts are graded, the bocce courts are formed, and the event lawn is next in line for grading and earthwork.

“We’re thrilled with the progress at Club Cresswind at Wesley Chapel,” said Josh Donovan, Kolter Homes Community Leader for Cresswind Wesley Chapel. “This club represents the next generation of what we’ve been developing with Cresswind lifestyle programming for over a decade. The Lifestyle Director is already on board, leading events with our founding residents as we work towards opening their clubhouse next year.”

Club Cresswind offers future residents an array of amenities, including social spaces for hosting events, a lounge area, game room, and an art studio for exploring various mediums. The state-of-the-art Cresswind SmartFIT Training Center powered by EGYM includes a cardio studio, and a full-time lifestyle director will oversee a wide range of clubs and activities. When completed, outdoor amenities will include a resort-style pool with sundeck and sun shelves, an outdoor spa, an event lawn with bandshell, pickleball, tennis, and bocce courts. The neighborhood Dog park opened earlier this year.

The Cresswind Wesley Chapel community offers 10 unique floor plans ranging from two to five bedrooms. The convenient location, just 40 minutes from Charlotte City Center, adds to the allure of this thriving community.

Jill Minor Named Lifestyle Director of the Year by NAHB at The Nationals

Jill Minor Named Lifestyle Director of the Year

Kolter Homes proudly announces that Jill Minor, Lifestyle Director at Cresswind Charleston, was honored as a Lifestyle Director of the Year award-winner by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) at The Nationals during the International Builder’s Show in Las Vegas. This prestigious award is competed for by lifestyle directors in communities nationwide. The award recognizes the professional responsible for programming annual lifestyle events for a new community.

Jill Minor Named Lifestyle Director of the Year by NAHB at The Nationals

Minor joined Cresswind Charleston as Lifestyle Director in December 2019. Prior to that, she taught dance in a public school in South Carolina. With an extensive background in the entertainment industry, she has performed in shows all over the world.

“Jill’s passion for her job is reflected in the success of the lifestyle program at Cresswind Charleston,” said Mark LaClaire, Director of Lifestyle for Kolter Homes. “She loves interacting with the residents, whom she considers family. Jill believes that it is truly an expression of what it takes to be a village.”

“The best part of my job is the residents. I’ve been here three years, and I feel like part of their family,” says Minor. ‘I love interacting with them, and they bring me great ideas.”

Creativity and the desire to create social interaction drives Minor to craft fun events for residents. She started themed scavenger hunts during COVID-19 with actors that engaged and entertained scavenger teams of four. She works with residents and clubs to host themed teas, dance nights, and other events like Cress Talk, lunch and learns and Karaoke night.

During COVID-19, while the clubhouse was shut down, she kept residents active and engaged, thanks to her outside-the-box, creative programming. For this, she was awarded the Aim High award for 2020.

“Jill’s success as a Lifestyle Director reflects her passion for her job and her commitment to the residents at Cresswind Charleston,” said LaClaire. “She deserves the Lifestyle Director of the Year award from the NAHB at The Nationals.”

The residents of Cresswind Charleston hosted a surprise party for Minor when she returned from Vegas. They hijacked an event she had planned, rolled out the red carpet and gave her flowers and a tiara.

Minor holds a B.A. in Dance from Point Park University. She resides with her husband and two kids in Summerville, South Carolina.
