Local Builder Honored at 27th Annual REGAL Awards

Best Product DesignCarolina builder Essex Homes was honored with numerous awards at the 27th annual REGAL Awards. Hosted by the Building Industry Association of Central South Carolina’s Sales and Marketing Council, the event was a celebration of South Carolina’s outstanding building industry.

Essex Homes’ marketing team was recognized by winning multiple awards, including Best Use of Social Media – Builder for its overall strategy on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Pinterest, while agent Stephanie Berquist won the Best Use of Social Media – Individual for her fabulous job promoting Essex Homes.

Essex was also honored by winning Best Radio Commercial – Builder for the His, Hers & Ours promotion. Other promotions winning awards included the Spooktacular Feud event, which won Best Special Promotion, while Essex Homes’ highly successful Twice as Nice tax promotion won in the Best Overall Advertising Campaign. Top 10 Builders

Essex’s very own Susan Longshore was awarded the Marketing Director of the Year Award and the Judge’s Choice Award! Two of Essex Homes’ beautiful homes also received awards; the Katherine model home at Woodcreek Crossing in Elgin received the Best Interior Merchandising (Over $400,000) award for its well-decorated interior. In addition, The Sullivan plan won the Best Product Design (3,500 to 4,000 square feet) award.

Essex Homes Announces Return of Twice as Nice Buyer Incentive

Essex Homes Twice as NiceEssex Homes announces the return of its Twice as Nice buyer incentive. Now through April 30, 2016, buyers that purchase an Essex home in the Columbia, South Carolina market can double their tax refund up to $10,000.* This incentive can be used designer upgrades or as a reduction on the total cost of an inventory home. To take advantage of the refund, buyers must present a copy of their 2015 tax return upon meeting with a Community Sales Manager.

“This incentive was a huge success for us last year with more than 80 home sales,” said Mike Cancilla, division manager of Essex Homes. “Our home buyers truly appreciated the opportunity to save additional money on their home, and we’re excited for the opportunity to give new buyers even more of a chance to save this year.”

Essex Homes Announces Opening of Model Home in Lake View at Barr Lake

Winchester ExteriorLexington, South Carolina, is a sought-after area that’s easy to love. It has that small town feel with the benefits of the capital city only minutes away. Barr Lake is located in the heart of Lexington and is the newest Lexington County neighborhood from Essex Homes. The grand opening of the professionally decorated model, which is located in the Lake View section of Barr Lake, will take place Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016.

Essex Homes Invites you to Reach out and Share Your Blessings

Essex HomesEssex Homes celebrates the holiday season by giving back to those in need through the Harvest Hope Food Bank in Columbia as well as the Second Harvest Food Bank in Charlotte. Essex Homes will be collecting non-perishable food donations at all Columbia-and-Charlotte-area community sales centers and offices during the months of November and December.

All food donations must be non-perishable items which can include canned vegetables, canned meats, dry goods, peanut butter, beans and much more. Some of the most needed items at either bank aren’t even food – diapers and detergent can help make a big difference as well. To see more of the most needed items at Harvest Hope, click here. If you don’t have time to stop by an Essex Homes sales centers or office this holiday season but would like to make a monetary contribution, donators can do so by visiting www.harvesthope.org/money or www.secondharvestmetrolina.org.
